Can you imagine?

We have a hunger to be significant. It causes a jealous eye and WILL destroy us. Where is our hunger? Do we long for Him more than we hunger for significance? Do we allow Him to be our satisfaction instead of our duty? Do we place Him as #1 or do we allow other things to compete with Him for first?

These are the questions that ROCK MY BRAIN. I can't fathom them. I can't even begin to understand the mystery of the Holy Trinity and that we should bind His word in the forefront of our minds. Our hunger for significance is God-given, but is it God-raised? Or self-raised?

Isaiah 55

Invitation to the Thirsty
1 "Come, all you who are thirsty,
come to the waters;
and you who have no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without cost.

2 Why spend money on what is not bread,
and your labor on what does not satisfy?
Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good,
and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

As He increases, we shall decrease. (He is the only one sufficient to save us.)

He is the only one sufficient to save us.

He is the only one sufficient to save us.
